Statistical information such as data capture start and end time, data capture duration, input value count and sample rate are automatically saved with each CarLog project file. For archiving purposes, it is also possible to enter user-specific information such as author/engineer, test object, event, comments, etc.
All input types are displayed in a list view. Input type specific data such as current values, minimum and maximum values, mean values, variance and deviation values, input value counts, etc. is automatically updated during data logging processes. The number of input types and input values is only limited by the available memory/storage space of your computer hardware.
A tree view is provided for selecting from various data view types (bar chart, line plot, etc.). User-specific data views for simultaneous display of selectable input type sets can easily be defined.
The plot data view display can be zoomed to any valid Y axis value range and to millisecond X axis time ranges. The data from the selected display can be exported (e.g., to CSV format) or send to any connected printer as WYSIWYG plot.
